Bring new life to the holidays with out of the ordinary color combinations. Choose a palette that is festive, and not specific to traditional color norms, for hip holiday party decorating. Make your linens pop with metallics or prints in different shapes and colors; plaid, retro prints and geometric shapes.
Metallics bronze, gold and silver paired with black, white, cobalt and harvest colors such as orange and brown are changing the way many people decorate for the holidays. These trendy combinations create an elegant look.
If you opt for a contemporary, monochromatic color scheme, you can still stay trendy with the use of various dark and rich color combinations of pink, turquoise and blue denim, or ornamental tones in turquoise, purple and midnight blue. Neutrals such as cream, winter white and beige can be used to cool and accent the rich color scheme of the season. Geometrical patterns, as well as stripes and polka dots, are also popular.
Our favorite holiday trend is a combination of soft to electric pinks with brown. The color combinations are also a favorite for winter wedding reception decoration.
